Privacy Policy

LIVN FORGE ("we," "us," "the app") is a faith-based daily journaling and habit app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We built LIVN FORGE to be private by default — your reflections are yours.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and a password (passwords are securely hashed by our authentication provider; we never see them in plain text).
• Your content — the journal entries, devotional reflections, gratitude notes, prayer requests, and fitness logs you choose to write.
• Activity data — points, streaks, entry counts, and reward progress used to power your dashboard and the rewards program.
• Group & prayer-circle data — your display name and stats shared with groups or prayer circles you choose to join (by code).
• Reward redemptions — if you claim physical merch, the shipping address and size you provide so we can fulfill it.
• Subscription status — whether your account has an active membership (managed by our payment processor; we do not store your card details).

How we use your information

• To provide the app, save your entries, and sync them securely across your devices.
• To show your progress, streaks, points, and rewards.
• To generate your optional AI weekly review and devotional questions (see "AI features" below).
• To fulfill reward redemptions you request.
• To send on-device reminder notifications you set up (these are scheduled locally on your device).

AI features

When you use the optional weekly review or devotional question features, the relevant entry text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate that summary or those questions. It is not used to train models and is not retained beyond producing your result.

How your information is stored and shared

Your data is stored with our cloud database provider (Supabase) and transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the app:

• Supabase — secure account authentication and data storage.
• Stripe — subscription billing (handled entirely by Stripe; we never receive your card number).
• Anthropic — AI generation for the optional review/devotional features.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your private journal content with anyone except as needed to provide the features above.

Your choices and rights

• You can view, edit, and delete your entries at any time within the app.
• You can leave any group or prayer circle you've joined.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us (below).

Children

LIVN FORGE is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
